Rules And Procedures
1. The Lucky Lottery Club exists to increase the chances of its members winning prizes on the British National Lottery. It does not exist to promote the British, or any other, National Lottery and is wholly independent of the Camelot Group plc, its agents and employees.
2. The Treasurer is responsible for all matters financial, including the collection, and safe keeping, of all winnings. The Treasurer is also responsible for the maintenance of good accounts sufficient for the proper running of the club and to the satisfaction of its members and legal authorities. The Treasurer's address is to be made known to any member or legal authority requesting it.
3. The Secretary is responsible for the maintenance of good and sufficient membership records such that the club is able to run efficiently and to its members satisfaction.
4. Members must be at least sixteen years old.
5. Membership is conferred by the issue of a receipt by the club and lasts only for the relevant set of sixteen draws.
6. Stakes must be lodged prior to any stated set of sixteen draws and once received are not refundable.
7. The division of prize money will be equal amongst the number of shares and will take place at the end of each membership period.
8. In the event of any draw being cancelled membership will continue until sixteen draws have been completed.
9. Only members (or their heirs or other designated executors) may receive prize-money. Membership is not transferable and stakeholdings cannot be sold.
10. Members may hold more than one share in any stated set of draws. The maximum number of shares is limited to two-hundred. Priority for membership will given to those already current in the event of over-subscription.
11. Except for those reasons detailed under English law and with the exception of the Treasurer's address membership details and their winnings are confidential and are not passable onto any third party.
12. Members are deemed to understand that they may not make a profit and that it is in the nature of gambling that no guarantees of profit can be made.
